Hi Koshin!

What a lovely post today. It really speaks to me and something I have been putting some good amount of attention on recently. Blindspots! I have been having conversations with a couple people about working on my blindspots. I think, because I'd rather not face the giants, I delude myself into thinking that I do face them. For example, I think one of blind spots is that I can be "stubborn" and dig my heels in. I spend time noticing and attempting to catch myself in my stubbornness. I feel successful when I've noticed. But I also feel like I may get even more stubborn if I don't notice and someone tries to point it out to me. Because I think I "shouldn't" have to have someone point it out to me. If I'm paying attention, and I think I am paying attention, I would have caught it myself. I didn't notice it so it must not have happened. LOL. Blindspots!!! Such a great practice.

Dear Lori

Thank you for reaching out. Isn’t it amazing and humbling to realize it doesn’t matter if we want to confront the giants or not! I continuously find it humbling. Let’s meet these blind spots with compassion as a way to feel more connected and tender to all beings who also have these blind spots and giants to reckon with. So joyful to practice with you!🙏🏽
